On April 16 th, the editorial and design team of the Colophon Magazine met in Amsterdam. Attending the meeting were Luis Mendo, the art director of the project, Patricia Dolman from M-real who initiated the project, and the three curators of the symposium: Jeremy Leslie, Andrew Losowsky and Mike Koedinger. They've decided that half of the magazine will showcase artworks of guest contributors, while the other half will be completed with essays and interviews. The magazine will be published in September 2007 and printed in Victor Buck's new printing house in Slovakia. In addition to that, the magazine will be sent to all the pre-registered Flash Passers.
A week after the symposium we've been at Update as an exhibitor, promoted the newly released "We Love Magazines", talked to and managed to book many magazine addicts. Nice.
For the exhibition "Dysfashional - adventures in post style", we've been asked to select magazines that inspire the world of fashion: A, Butt, carls' cars, fantastic man, let them eat cake, m publication, magazine, nico, sleek, thisisamagazine, volt.
… have responded to our invitation. The exhibition runs until May 7 th in the framework of "Luxembourg and Greater Region, Capital of Culture 2007"
